Day 4. Calexico to Yuma

The day started out with fabulous roads and then we turned onto Center of the World Parkway.  This and the road into Winterhave were Roads from Hell.  The law states if there is a side road cyclists are not allowed on the freeway.  So we were stuck riding the roads.  We stopped for lunch at the Center of the World .   You can take a tour for $5 which I did once before.  Others that didn't want to take a tour were actually asked to pay $3 to take pictures.   Crazy but it was a good stop.  Our route took us a different way than back in 2011 and this time I rode right past where my son works.  So we stopped bit I was too late as he had left work.  We rode up to the historic prison but it was too late and we wanted to get to camp.  So we just took pictures.  I didn't but the others did.

When I got camp who pulled up but my sons boss to say hello.  That was such a nice surprise.  I showed her our indoor camping at the Armory.

The laundry had returned and was folded and put on a table for us to go through.  What a deal!

Below are a couple of pictures of the Center of the World in Felicity CA.  It's unique and is interesting,  The guy has a lot of money and this is what he did with it.  It is still unfinished as there are more slats to be written on.  Well I give up.  The pictures I wanted to show you are not coming up.  I've been having trouble with that.
