Day 30 lockhart to La Grange 53 miles

A fun day with lots to see.  Rolling hills, good roads for a change and good weather.  Came across a group of Texas Longhorns.  They are so cool.  I can't imagine how they get these guys in a barn as their horns can be 5-6 feet wide.  They must have some kind of open shelter though.  Flowers on all sides of the roads today.  Paintbrush, fields of BlueBonnets and some beautiful yellow and red flowers that we don't know what they are but so pretty.  Came into La Grange and we stopped at Brad's house.  Brad is a friend of Bubbas and he opened his house for the guys to shower.  Gayle, Ellen and I stopped by to say hello and I reminded him that I camped in his back yard in 2011 with Bubba's group.   A really nice guy with a beautiful home.
