Day 48. Marianna to Tallahassee 86 Miles
We crossed into the EastenTime Zone today. Had lunch at a little coffee shop in Quincy and had a Blueberry Thyme Chicken salad sandwich on wheat bread. And a cup of coffee. Rode over the Chattahoochee River (love the way the name rolls off your tongue). The route today was awesome with some 3,000 feet of climbing. Great road with hills of course most of them were somewhat rollers.
We turned onto this one road called Miccosukee Greenway and it was beautiful. Can't describe it but reminded me of a jungle along the roadside.
4 days of riding is left. The time has flown by. Who would have thought. Monday we ride into St Augustine and dip our tires in the Atlantic. Hard to believe.
