Day 11 East Tucson to Tombstone
So yesterday was quite a day. Quite a bit of climbing but the scenery was beautiful. Took some pics but not a lot. We stopped in this little town for lunch at The Cafe. They knew we were coming in but the manager is also a apart of a volunteer rescue unit and was called away. The assistant manager came in and they called in other workers that didn't show up. Plus they said they have a small kitchen. Needless to say it took us almost 2 hours to get our food. The food was delicious so it was worth the wait.
But we still needed to ride 40 more miles to get to Tombstone. So I took the lead and with the help of a tailwind and pretty good roads meaning not too hilly we made it to the next rest stop quite quickly. Then on to Tombstone, the last leg of the journey for the night.
