Day 6. Dateland to Gila Bend

51 miles today.  Not much to see as most of the ride was on the freeway.   We had some tailwinds that helped us fly down the road.  We were going a cool 17-18 miles an hour which is fast for us.   A nice rest stop where we all enjoy the "real" bathrooms.  They provide fruits, various bags of chips and one of my favorites - peanut butter on a tortilla.  We had lunch at Sofia's in town.  A real Mexican restaurant with great food.  Taco salad for me.

Coming into town you are met with a welcome sign.  We are staying at a really nice KOA with a pool, enough showers, outside fireplace.  A very nice place.

As you can read it really was an uneventful day.
